Here are some of our favorite Kayaking/Canoeing Adventures (to name a few). Remember before you leave for your water adventure stop into KG for water-friendly footwear, personal floatation devices (for children and adults),  paddles, snacks, and more. 


White Water:

Whether you're booking a white water trip with a guide or taking on the rapids solo, the west branch of the Penobscot River will not let you down. With rapids ranging from Class II to Class V. Remember to stop at KG before you set sail on this amazing adventure. We have personal floatation devices (children and adults), rafting sandals, sunscreen, bug dope, dry sacs, snacks and more.

One of the most popular reasons people come to Millinocket. And a life-changing adventure for sure. Hiking Katahdin is not for the faint of heart. Make sure you have all the proper equipment you need and KG has you covered. We have backpacks, hiking poles, snacks, water sacks, first aid kits, hats, gloves, flashlights, and more. Enjoy ATV riding through the woods of Millinocket. Don't forget to register them before hitting the trails. Stop into KG we register ATV's and have MIlfoil stickers as well. Check out the Moses section of our website for more ATV information. 



Everyone wants to know where to see a Moose in Millinocket. The truth is there is no fool proof way to see one. The best times of day are shortly after sunrise and shortly before sunset in swampy areas. There are however Moose tours available with professionals that have some pretty good luck. Don't forget to stop into KG first and grab some breakfast and snacks.  We open at 5:30 am 7 days a week. 



Don't miss out on amazing fishing opportunities while in Millinocket. From fly fishing to ice fishing and everything in between we have you covered.
